The selected zinc alloy or aluminum alloy is heated in a furnace to about 400 - 450 degrees Celsius to melt.
-
The molten zinc alloy is injected into the mold cavity under high pressure using a die-casting machine. We can ensure that all the details and features of the lid can be accurately reproduced.
-
Once the mold is filled with molten metal, it begins to cool and solidify. We will ensure that the metal solidifies evenly and there are no defects such as shrinkage cavities or pores.
-
After the metal solidifies, open the mold and eject the die-cast lid. Workers use trimming tools to remove excess metal or flash, then automated equipment trims burrs and polishes to ensure the lid's size and shape are within tolerance.
